1.  Participated in a Health Care Management Course, Spring 2006   1-Semester course at Washington University that covered topics including strategic planning, creating a budget, productivity, monthly reporting, implementing programs, handling conflict, employee retention, hiring and interviewing, culture, health literacy, motivating employees, and performance improvement.  I also was mentored by Ms. Crystal Ford Weaver, a manager at Barnes Jewish Hospital in the Department of Transport Services.   

2.  Assistant Director of the Parkersburg YWCA Summer Day-Camp, 2004 Parkersburg, WV.  Responsible for overseeing all camp employees at an outdoor day-camp for kids aged 5-12 years.  Responsibilites included delegating tasks, assisting with program design, conflict management, addressing parental concerns, and problem-solving situations with activity scheduling.
